The 2009 vintage benefited from good summer heat, even though it was an El Nino weather pattern. It was an ealy vintage due to the very hot summer temperatures.

Tasting Note:
Full of ripe pear and wild honey notes. Due to the summer heat, the acid level is excellent. The fruit profile has a freshness with an attractive residual sweetness. It is very much a food wine, or equally it can be enjoyed late afternoon as an aperitif.

Accompaniment:
Chicken and pasta.
