Only the free run juice was selected for the Marshall Bank, and this entered a blend of new and seasoned oak barrels. The wine remained in oak for a further eight months, with regular lees stirring to give creamy complexity to the palate.

Tasting Note:
The 2007 Marshall Bank Chardonnay has a fragrant stonefruit bouquet. There is a fullness of flavour in the mid palate beseiged by kenetic energy. Apricot, peach, toast and oak make the Marshall Bank a joy currently, and equally it will age.
