Hand harvested 17th April 2007. Incredibly intensely flavoured fruit was destemmed, crushed and fermented at warm temperatures for colour/ tannin extraction. Following pressing, the wine underwent Malolactic Fermentation in new oak barrels.

Tasting Note:
The 2007 Hillside Syrah is intimate and intense. Very dark in colour, it has white and black pepper notes, emersed in plum, sweet berry, toast and oak. There are layers of flavours, which become apparent on exposure to air. The 2007 Hillside Syrah immediately becomes a friend, there is warmth and conviviality which will last for many years.

A hot open fire and some very good friends.
